Hillside Washers are used to evenly distribute
load in cross bracing applications. Diagonal tie rods are frequently used to support wall columns and steel beams in steel construction. The outer curved surface allows for field adjustments where the angle of the rod may not be known ahead of time, allowing for full nut engagement. This helps to reduce installation time and field adjustments.
